I’ve started a few blogs before, but they tended to be too specific and I lost interest quickly. At one point I wanted to do a food blog, but my expertise in the field fell short. I’m just a good eater – not a chef or even a mediocre cook. Plus having to commit to eat out more often, isn’t financially viable. To tell you the truth, I’ve never gotten past the first post. So this will be more of a general blog about my experience living on the 49th parallel in Windsor, Ontario across from Detroit. I’ll be jotting down my opinions and thoughts, good and bad, on everything and anything, but I’ll try to localize it as much as possible. You may get a personal tidbit here or there. I’ll also be sharing my creative side, as I try to feed my spirit that has been starved for most of the last decade. I’m branching outside of my 9 to 5 job to include photography – most specifically portraiture, sewing (quilting), maybe even some creative writing if I’m feeling brave.
The blogger world in Windsor is exploding and it has inspired me to get my thoughts out there and write outside of my corporate job. My husband, Tom Lucier, is a leader in the local social media community and I’ve fallen way behind what he knows and is involved in!

Welcome to the blogshphere! It’s such a fun place.
Welcome to the blog world (again) – re catching up with Tom, I try to keep up with the boys, but really, that’s like trying to harness a tornado. However, it keeps me moving and growing – not at their speed or high level of hi tech expertise, but it keeps me interested in things. Thanks for the ‘plug’ …. maybe I, too, will be fortunate enough to get some portraiture work. It’s all about learning and growing, isn’t it. You inspire me, and I look forward to reading and seeing more.
